Our laboratory was award an National Science Foundation (NSF) Partnerships For Innovation (PFI) grant in collaboration with Materic. Materic is an established manufacturer or randomly oriented electrospun nanofiber products for clients in a wide variety of industries.
As part of this grant Materic will provide entrepreneurial training to students in our lab and help us to determine an optimal path for commercialization of aligned nanofiber materials and yarns manufactured using our proprietary technologies.
